tomato & basil pasta sauce
gluten-free, vegan
ingredients
- 3-4 vine tomatoes
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 2 fresh garlic cloves
- 1/2 cup fresh basil
- 1/4 cup condensed coconut milk
- 2 tbsp avocado oil or extra virgin olive oil
- salt & pepper to taste
- cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes for spice (optional)
instructions
- slightly cook tomatoes on stove in oil.
- let it cool down.
- put cooked tomatoes into food processor or blender and add garlic, onion powder, sat, pepper, and basil.
- add cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes for spice.
- blend components together.
- add sauce to saucepan and add coconut milk then stir.
- enjoy!
