basil pesto sauce

gluten-free.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup basil leaves
  • 2 fresh garlic cloves
  • 1 egg
  • ½  cup avocado oil
  • ¼ cup melted butter (vegan: sub olive oil)
  • ¼ cup pine nuts
  • 2 tsp fresh lemon juice
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients (except melted butter) to a blender or food processor.
  2. Add melted butter and blend.
  3. Enjoy!
